Drew Phelps began his career in radio at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, before landing his first job at Max Media in Virginia Beach.
After doing weekends on 97.3 The Eagle, Drew moved back to the DC Metro area to become a part-time on-air personality for 98.7 WMZQ in Rockville, MD, before breaking away from Country radio in 2010 to help launch a brand new, All-Fantasy Sports Radio Network on SiriusXM. Twelve years later, however, Drew got the opportunity to return to his Country radio roots when he was asked to join 99.9 WFRE in Frederick, MD.
Drew has lived all over the DC Metro Area, in Prince George’s, Montgomery, Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun counties, but he’s called Frederick County home since 2017, where he lives with his wife, Katie, and son, Mason, and their two dogs, Jamey (a Golden/Chow mix) and Major (a Bernese Mountain Mix). Drew loves all things DC Sports, as well as watching & playing bad golf, and doing anything with his family in & around the Frederick.
