Frederick County State’s Attorney Charlie Smith
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County State’s Attorney Charlie Smith will be hosting the 35th Maryland Statewide Memorial Service for the victims of crime and their families. It will take place from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church at 6437 Jefferson Pike.
The ceremony will be for the Western Region of Maryland which consists of Frederick, Washington, Allegany, Garrett and Montgomery Counties.
The memorial service will honor the victims of crime and their families, particularly the Marylanders who lost their lives due to violent crime. It will also acknowledge the families who lives have been affected by violent crime.
The ceremony will also include the reading of the names of those individuals who lost their lives as a result of violent crime.
The Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy will present a Proclamation during the service.
