Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man is charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography. Daniel Patrick Vandervossen, 50, was arrested on Wednesday at his home.
Frederick Police say in September,2024, Detective DeWees began an investigation involving internet crimes against children. The suspect was identified as Vandervossen.
A search and seizure warrant was obtained, and members of the Frederick Police Major Crimes Unit entered Vandervosen’s home on Camillia Court. where evidence was collected.
Vandervossen was taken into custody. He was seen by a district court commissioner, and released on an unsecured bond of $5,000.
This investigation was a joint operation between the Frederick Police and the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office.
