Suspect Arrested In Five Armed Robberies In Montgomery County

The individual robbed five 7-11 stores.

Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A Gaithersburg man has been arrested for the armed robberies of five, 7-11 stores in Montgomery County.  Earl David Long, 59, was taken into custody on Friday, June 21st, and charged with multiple counts of armed robbery.

He was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he’s being held without bond.

Police say the robberies occurred between June 5th and June 21st, 2024. The 7-11 stores which were robbed were located at::

*8900 block of North Westland Drive

*10200 New Hampshire Avenue

*900 block of Merrimac Street

*8100 block of Fenton Street

*400 block of North Frederick Street.

Montgomery County Police say detectives identified Long as the suspect in these robberies through their investigation. Long was taken into custody on June 21st after the robbery of the 7-11 on North Frederick Street.
