Police say there were no credible threats to the community.
Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A 17-year-old boy is charged with making threats to a Montgomery County Public School. Police say the youth is also a Montgomery County Public School student.
Detectives with the Community Engagement Division- Behavioral Assessment Administrative Unit responded to the school on March 18th for a threat which came in by voice mail. They say the youth left a message directed toward the principal and various demographic and religious groups.. Police did not name the school involved.
Detectives say they were able to identify the teenage boy who is charged with making threats of mass violence, and a hate crime related to an attack on the race and/or religion of a particular group.
His case has been turned over to the Department of Juvenile Services,
