Authorities say she was crossing the street carrying groceries.
Frederick, Md (KM) One person was killed in a fatal pedestrian collision Thursday night in Frederick.
The Sheriff’s Office says Rosemarie Lillian Richardson, 67, was crossing Crestwood Boulevard at Rosebay Court when she was struck by a White BMW. Witnesses told deputies Richardson was carrying groceries while crossing the street.
Deputies arriving on the scene at around 7:40 PM rendered immediate aid prior to the arrival of emergency medical personnel. Richardson was medivaced to a trauma center where she later died from her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation, and anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office. They can call Dfc Reggio at 301-600-1046.
